Drawing on decades of clinical experience, Nicole supports couples to rediscover connection, closeness, and a renewed sense of possibility in their relationship. Her work is centred on empowering couples with practical tools and shared understanding, helping them reconnect with the aliveness and intimacy that first brought them together.
Nicole is a clinical psychologist and trauma specialist who brings a grounded, real-world approach to relationship support. With deep expertise in trauma and attachment, she helps couples build a strong sense of safety, both within themselves and with each other. By combining evidence-based trauma work with relationship-focused therapy, Nicole supports couples to move beyond old patterns and intentionally create the relationship they want to grow into together.

Strong relationships are built on shared understanding, practical tools,
and knowing you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Many couples seek help after years of feeling stuck, frustrated, or disconnected. Traditional fortnightly therapy can feel slow or discouraging when partners don’t yet share a clear understanding of what’s happening between them, or how to change it together.
Nicole takes a different approach. Rather than starting with ongoing sessions that revisit the same old conflicts, she encourages couples to begin by learning a shared relationship framework through her Getting the Love You Want Couples Workshop. When both partners understand their patterns and have practical tools they can use straight away, tension often reduces more quickly and change feels more achievable.

Some people know exactly what they’re looking for. Others simply know that something isn’t working and want clarity before taking the next step. Both are completely normal.
Below, you’ll see a few different ways to work with Nicole including couples workshops, individual or couples therapy, and upcoming online courses. Each option offers a different level of support, depending on where you’re at and what you’re hoping to change.
You don’t have to keep struggling on your own or repeating the same patterns. With the right support, couples can learn new ways of communicating and create a relationship they both want to be part of.
If you’re unsure which option feels like the best place to start, a short conversation can bring clarity. Nicole offers a 25-minute Discovery Call (via Zoom or phone call) where you can talk through your situation, explore your goals, and discuss whether a workshop or another option would be most helpful. You’ll also leave with practical tips you can start using right away.
The investment for a Discovery Call is $125 (including GST).
